Dress: Forever21     Cardigan: Tilly's     Necklace: Infinitine

This week, we lost two amazing people. RIP Robin Williams and Lauren Bacall.

Isn't it such a horrible thing when those who are the saddest are usually the ones that seem the happiest on the outside? Before I start my post, I just wanted to let you guys know that...though you only get a glimpse of my life, I am always here for you if you need to talk! Feel free to tweet me or email me. Life is the most unpredictable thing, and things change every second. I don't want to see or hear you say that you hope you can be happy one day No. You will be happy.

As I'm writing my college essays (sorry, for these next couple of months, college will probably be mentioned at least once because it will probably take over my life), I realize how frustratingly hard it is to convince someone else how much you want to go to their school.

My friends and I made our "senior" shirts the other day and I'm so proud of how well they turned out!! Hopefully I'll post a picture on here, but follow my instagram because it'll most likely be posted there(:

ALSO, my back to school outfits video went live the other day! Click here to watch it. I'm really really proud of how it turned out and would love for you guys to check it out!

xoxo Shirley

  2. Love your dress, very "effortless look" :) ! Amazing, if not iconic actors we lost, still remember the laughter Robin Williams brought out in me & the iconic star Lauren Bacall (one of my natural beauty inspirations from the "films age").

  4. I love the free spirit, laid back look of you in this outfit.
I feel sorry for Robin Williams. RIP. I've been there, bummed in the dark dark place too like now way out but of course I have never known what was in his thought.
    Good luck for the college...:)x

  5. Thanks for your lovely comment on my latest post, Shirley! It's crazy to me that you have to write individual essays for each college; we just had to write one personal statement bugging ourselves up! But ahh you have so much fun ahead of you the next few years. Good luck with the applications process! As for the outfit - loose grey cardi and a white sundress is one of my favourites for summer :)

  7. Love the dress & I'm with you on college essays ;___; I can't seem to figure out exactly what I want to say and how to say it in less than 500 words. But good luck with the app process!
